Washington (ANI): Young starlet Vanessa Hudgens of High School Musical fame has found a new mentor in Tom Cruise. The stunner was taken by surprise when the superstar sat her down for a career chat. The actress said that she was backstage at a Spice Girls show when Victoria Beckham introduced her to the Hollywood heartthrob and his wife Katie Holmes.
Hudgens revealed that initially she was speechless after seeing the Top Gun star, however, things started to become 'normal' once she took time to listen to his career advice and how to avoid the pitfalls of fame.
"He was so sweet and such a nice guy... just telling me there isn't much that you can do, it's just part of your life now. So you have to accept it... He is an amazing guy," Contactmusic quoted Hudgens as saying. She added: "Victoria, Katie and Tom, they are all really great people."
