Peaches wedding to Max was a little bit nuts

London (ANI): Sir Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches Geldof, 19, has admitted that her wedding to musician Max Drummey in a Las Vegas chapel in August was a little bit 'nuts'. Peaches has also revealed how her relationship with Drummey began via MySpace, went on to a meeting in London iTunes festival in July, and then on to a US road trip.

"I was going through a difficult time with my other relationship. We were sort of at a hiatus, so Max said, 'Why don't you come and hang with me in America? I felt trapped at home and it sounded good, so I went," the Telegraph quoted her as telling Heat magazine.

"We were just travelling across America, visiting weird towns. It was really fun and I felt so free. I had this huge bond with him - it felt like the sort of archaic romance that you only ever read about. It's a cliche, but cliches are there for a reason."

"He said to me, 'I don't want you to go back to London. I don't want to lose this bond with you. I don't want you to be taken away from me. Why don't we just take a trip to Vegas and do something like get married?" I was like, 'Hell, yeah!' I thought, 'I'm 19 years old, this is amazing and a little bit nuts, but I've fallen in love with him, so why not?" she said.

The Brit socialite also spoke about the possibilities of divorce and her marriage not lasting forever. "You can't ignore divorce rates. Every friend of mine has parents who are now divorced. I didn't go into it with Max thinking, "This is going to last forever," but I did go into it thinking, "I love him right now and I know that I will continue to love him for a long while," she added.
