Melbourne (ANI): Pop star Natalie Imbruglia has announced her plans to release her new album under her own label. The revelation comes days after she parted ways with her record company Sony BMG. The album, to be produced by Ben Hillier, will even contain songs that Imbruglia jointly wrote with her ex-husband Daniel Johns.
"I am really excited to tell you that my new album is in the final stages of mixing and we are hoping to release it in the UK by March 2009," the Daily Telegraph quoted Imbruglia, as stating on her official website. "It has taken longer than I would have hoped to get to this point - I will spare you the gory details but it feels very good to be in a position of control and being able to decide how this record will be delivered to the world," she added.
