Washington (ANI): Socialite Paris Hilton's new movie Repo! The Genetic Opera has been savaged by film critics, insisting that the movie is 'just plain awful and nearly unwatchable'. The remark was made by the Los Angeles Times critic Mark Olsen.

"The film is bad - not good-bad, tacky-bad or fun-bad, just plain awful and nearly unwatchable," Contactmusic quoted Olsen, as writing. Talking about Hilton's performance in the bizarre cosmetic surgery horror musical, he said: "it seems the production has had to cut around the ubiquitous Paris Hilton, as she is never glimpsed in anything but brief, fleeting shots and her hoarse bark of a singing voice is used as little as possible."

The San Jose Mercury News also claimed that film is 'as bad as it gets', adding it's 'easily one of the worst movies of the year, if not all time'. Darren Lynn Bousman, director of Hilton starrer had admitted that he had reservations about signing Hilton up for his movie, but insists she was a pleasure to work with.

Repo is not Paris' film. She plays a supporting character who only appears in six scenes or so. Also, many of the negative reviews for Repo are the same ones taken over again, word for word, and reposted someplace else. All this 'article' consists of are blocks of text from said overused negative reviews. How many of these reviewers have actually seen this film? I'd have to assume not many, since it's still viewed as 'Paris' film' when the majority of the plot focuses around Alexa Vega, Anthony Stewart Head, and Paul Sorvino. See the movie yourself before you naysay it. Get your own opinion.
