Washington (ANI): Oscar-winning American actress Gwyneth Paltrow has declared her support for Barack Obama, claiming that the Democratic presidential candidate shares her passions for women's rights issues.

"It is crucial that we elect a president who will make women's health a priority. For his entire career, Barack Obama has stood up for women in this way," Contactmusic quoted the mother-of-two as telling Glamour magazine.

Paltrow also revealed why she did not want Republican presidential hopeful John McCain to become American President. "McCain has voted against requiring insurance to cover birth control, and he's opposed to funding for education about emergency contraception (EC). McCain has voted against what is best for women's health 125 times. This year I'll be voting for a champion of women's health care, and a champion for my daughter's future," she said.

I agree with Gwyneth. It's not only McCain who will take rights away from Women--it's Palin also. We need to move foward--not backward. Many GOPs are against women's rights and birth control and abortion are just two of those rights. Democrats are for the people and for the women. GOPs are for the rich and for corporations.

Look at the candidates track records. Don't question Mc Cains judgment, question Obamas honesty. Too many websites are closed down when sites are referred to .... to cover his tracks ... very suspicious. Why is Obamas GRANDMOTHER LIVING IN SUCH ABJECT POVERTY ... if Obama is the hero he tries to portray? A few of his American dollars would have built a better shack for her. OBAMA ... CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME .... SHAME ON YOU and you expect to stay in the white house. Vote for Mc Cain and be safe.
