Washington (ANI): American co-host on the talk show 'The View' Elizabeth Hasselbeck stunned viewers when she began supporting president-elect Barack Obama. Hasselbeck, who had campaigned with John McCain's running mate Sarah Palin, was asked on the show by executive producer Barbara Walters how she felt about McCain/Palin losing the elections.

The former reality show contestant replied that her daughter Grace, 3, had asked her who won and who lost the election. "No one lost," Fox News quoted Hasselbeck as telling about what was her reply to her child?s question. "Seriously, today is a victory for this country," she said.

Hasselbeck said that the massive voter turnout and the excitement of the presidential contest inspired her. "I will get in a long line of supporters for this president," she added.

I think something is wrong with this girl. She hate Obama and everything he stands for. If you don't like black people just say it. She will not stand behind him. The day before she was saying how stupid he was and how she just couldn't stand to look at him or listen to him.

Gee, let me think- didn't Bill & Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden spew hatred and fear about Obabma before he became the Nominee? Now one's the Vice-President!

EH is a phony-She spewed hatred and fear about President elect Obama every day-If she really thought he was a terroist -why the sudden change? She has never retracted any of her vile statements and just wants to be on the winning side-She didn't attack Obama's policies as much as his character-She deserves no credit now-Her story about her daughter was phony-but if it was true-she should have said-There was ONE LOSER and you can call her MOMMY!!!Once she apologizes and admits she is a phony-then she will be a sincere person. the View needs another Lisa Ling instead of this reality show loser.

Yeah, right, George because you know Joy and the rest of the View so well. I wish people would not make blanket statements as the one you just made. They are on t.v. and it's a part of their job to make statements such as these to try an unite the country under the new president. There are plenty of McCain supporters that are voicing an opposite opinion of Mrs. Hasselback on the web. It's her job. Kudos to her for being eloquent about it, but the other hosts would have done the same had the result been different.

Now that is a classy woman and a great american. If John McCain got into office Joy and others of the show would of never supported the president.
