Jennifer Hudson to marry David Otunga

American actress, singer and model Jennifer Hudson is all set to tie the knot with David Otunga, her boyfriend of about a year, who is known as Punk on the VH1 reality show 'I Love New York 2'.

It was reported that David proposed to Dreamgirls star Jennifer with a Neil Lane diamond ring on Friday night and she accepted it. It must have been more special because the day was Jennifer's 27th birthday.

Jennifer and David has gotten married.It was said to have taken place Days before Jen gave birth to their son. I am soooo happy for the wonderful, loving couple. This is a very interesting pair. The hottest black couple since Will and Jada Smith came aboard. I just hope David is truely the honest man he is shown to be. Jennifer Hudson is a very special multi-talented young artist. The wedding was said to have been a small private, but very intimate one. I wish the both of them much love, peace, and blessings to come.

IT'S REALLY NOT ANYBODYS BUSINESS IF THEY GET MARRIED OR NOT THEY HAVE TO LIVE WITH EACH OTHER NOT THE WORLD, I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD KEEP NEGATIVE COMMENTS TO THEIRSELVES ABOUT PEOPLE. It is very wrong to think that they are not in love. Maybe her former boyfriend could not handle her fame. That happens alot,people just grow apart. Not only will time tell, it heals ALL wounds.

I am witholding judgement here. Having gone to Harvard has absolutely nothing to do with whom you fall in love with. That is an extremely weak and small minded argument. Only time will tell how this shakes out. Hopefully it works out well. However, I will say this. Jennifer does not strike me as the brightest young lady in the world. She has a really poor attitude and seems a bit caught up in that fleeting word they call "fame"

Jennifer must be stuck on stupid! First and foremost, he's supposed to be a Harvard graduate...if that's true, why would a Harvard grad be on a reality show like "I Love New York?" Second, there is a strong resemblance to Starr Jones' soon-to be-ex-husband, Al Reynolds...check the pose...and we know the way that marriage ended up...d-i-v-o-r-c-e. And we know, Al isn't the one paying alimony, is he? Finally, Jennifer has only been with him a year so how well does she really know him. And what did happen to her long-time boyfriend she had before the Oscar? Apparently, he wasn't "pretty" enough. Like Starr and Al's marriage, I don't see this marriage (if it makes it to the alter) lasting. Looks like Jennifer is getting to play a real-life role of Effy.

Isn't it interesting that when fame arrives, those who supported the famous are no longer worthy? What happened to the "janitor" boyfriend that Ms. Hudson claimed stuck by her before she rose on the gossimer wings os stardom?
