Actress Lindsay Lohan had claimed that she would never drink and drive, incidentally, only a day she was arrested for driving under the influence.
Lohan had told Elle magazine's forthcoming September issue that she would never want the paparazzi to pick on her for violating driving rules. The 21-year-old had also said that she has become 'more responsible' now.
"It's scary ... they're looking for me to, like, trip, so they can be like, 'Oh, Lindsay's wasted and driving drunk,'" People magazine quoted her as telling Elle. "I wouldn't violate....I'm much more responsible than that. I would not do that," she said.
On July 24, the Mean Girls star was held at Santa Monica by cops for suspected drunk driving. She is due to appear in court on August 24.
