Justin Bruening to play lead Knight Rider

Washington (ANI): Soap opera star Justin Bruening has been picked to step into David Hasselhoff"s shoes in the new 'Knight Rider" pilot. Bruening will play the son of Michael Knight, the character played by Hasselhoff in the original series. Steve Shill is set to direct and co-exec produce "Rider".

Dave Andron penned the script, with Doug Liman and Dave Bartis on board as executive producers for Universal Media Studios and Dutch Oven Prods. Andron serves as supervising producer, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Bruening, in the meantime, is playing Jamie Martin on soap opera "All My Children" and also had a role on the ABC soap "One Life to Live."

Karnataka Film Chamber bans Vijay for a year

Saturday, November 03, 2007 The battle between Duniya fame Vijay and veteran filmmaker Narayan has taken a new turn, as the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) took a hard decision in this matter. The KFCC has banned Vijay from being associated with any filmmaking activities for a year. The decision came as a result of Vijay"s refusal to present himself for the dubbing of his movie Chanda on October 29. Narayan directs the movie and wants to release it on November 15......
