Jake Gyllenhaal and Matthew McConaughey have been voted two of the world's hottest bachelors for a second consecutive year. Despite Brokeback Mountain star Jake being romantically linked to Reese Witherspoon, America's People magazine still regard him as single and have placed him on their annual list. The handsome actor appeared in the poll last year following his split from long-term girlfriend Kirsten Dunst.

'Sahara' actor Matthew also made the list last year after breaking up with Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz and his good looks and charm have secured him a spot again. Other single guys to make the poll include Chris Evans, who stars alongside Jessica Alba in Fantastic Four, American Idol star Blake Lewis and Renee Zellweger's ex-husband Kenny Chesney.

Kenny, who split from Renee after four months of marriage, recently said he is enjoying the bachelor lifestyle. Talking about his short-lived marriage, he said: "The only 'fraud' that was committed was me thinking that I knew what it was like, that I really understood what it was like to be married, and I really didn't."

Following his split from long-term love Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake also made the list, even though he's recently been linked to actress Jessica Biel. Britain's Princes William and Harry also appear in the poll.
