I read discouraging reviews before I saw the movie--it exceeded expectations+some. I get male reviewers complaints--it is not usual kid-action fare meant get get main demographic. It is a a movie for family members who value each other and understand THAT LOVE THING the characters learn about together. Everyone in my theater cheered and clapped at the end. This will be a keeper on DVD.
