Letters to Juliet is a romantic drama film. When Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) travels to the city of Verona, Italy, the setting of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, she finds one of thousands of unanswered letters to Juliet left at the fictional lover's Verona courtyard.
She inspires its author, Claire (Vanessa Redgrave) to search for her long-lost love which sets off a chain of events that will bring a love into both their lives unlike anything they have ever imagined.
