Uday Kiran Biography

Uday Kiran is an Indian Film Actor from the state of Andhra Pradesh. He has acted in the films of Telugu and Tamil.

Uday Kiran is a youthful and boyish actor of Tollywood. Udaykiran was born on June 26th,1980. His father is V.V.K.Murthy, works at the Town's airport & his mother, late Nirmala was a house wife. He has one older sister Sridevi, married and has two children. He attended local K.V.Picket school and Wesley college for his Education.

He joined the film industry in the year 2000 with no backing from any leading actors or producers, which is very uncommon in the current Indian Film Industry

He has primarily acted in the leading roles of many films of Telugu. Recently he started acting in the Tamil movies, with his first movie under the direction of the famous K. Balachander.

He received the Filmfare Best Actor Award (Telugu) for the year 2001 for the movie Nuvvu Nenu
