Taapsee Pannu is a South Indian film actress who has appeared in Tamil and Telugu and Kannada films. She is an ethnic Punjabi from the city of Ludhiana, Punjab, and was a software engineer before turning to acting. Appearing in several commercials, Taapsee also won Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face and Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin, during her modelling days.
