Sudeep is an Indian actor, Director,Producer & singer. He was Born on September 2, 1973 in Shimoga, Karnataka.
Sudeep's father Sanjeev is a hotelier turned Film producer. His father played a supporting actor's role in his first film Thayava. Sudeep, who is fondly called as Kiccha by his fans, was a student of mechanical Engineering in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. He was also a university level cricket player. Sudeep is married to Priya and has a daughter named Saanvi.
Career: Sudeep acted in a TV serial before he went on to act in films. Titled Premada Kadambari and directed by Sudhakar Bhandari, it was aired on Udaya TV. His first movie was Thayavva he played a supproting actor role in this movie. His first two films O Kusuma Bale and Brahma were abandoned mid- filming. He then played a again supporting role in the Sunil Kumar Desai - Directed movie Prathyartha and landed leading actor role in the same director's Sparsha. In 2001. Sudeep acted in the hit film Huccha, which gave him his first big following.
Sudeep's first directorial venture was My Autograph. Sudeep acted in the Kannada version of the Tamil film Autograph and Telugu film Swathi Muthyam. He has got the Filmfare Award for two consecutive years for them. Sudeep made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Phoonk. He has also starred in Ram Gopal Varma's movies Rann, Phoonk 2 and Rakta CharitraHe is also acting in a Telugu movie Ega directed by S.S. Rajamouli. He has also produced and directed kannada movies under his company "Kicha Creations. He directed few more movies like #73 Shanti Nivas and Veera Madakari which were not so successful. His recent directorial Kannada film Just Math Mathalli was released in Feb 2010
He is making his Debut in television in the reality show "Pyate Hudgeer - Halli Lifu" in suvarna channel, where e will play the roles of Main Anchor, Judge & Guide.
