Nargis Fakhri is a half Czech- half Pakistani model. She was born in New York Her father was Pakistani and her mother Czechoslovakian.

Fakhri appeared in America's Next Top Model season 2 in 2004 and she was featured in the 2009 Kingfisher swimsuit calendar.

Bollywood Director Imtiaz Ali had chosen the her as the female lead in his new movie Rockstar alongside Ranbir Kapoor.
