Murali is an Indian film actor, he was born in 1964. He is the son of P. Krishna Pillai and
Devaki Amma. He acquired his earlier education in Kudavattoor L. P
school and from his childhood days itself he started acting in
drama. His higher education was in Trikannamangalam S.K.V school.
During the period of his college education he was an SFI activist.
After passing out his LLB exam from the Law Academy in
Thiruvananthapuram he joined Government Health Department as L.D
clerk and later joined Kerala university as U.D clerk.
Murali left his job in the Kerala University to join cinema. He was
also active in theatre and had been an integral part of the
experiments conducted by Kaavaalam Narayana Panicker, Narendra Prasad
and his compatriots. He started 'Natya Griham', a drama school at
Thiruvananthapuram with the help of his friends.
His debut film was Bharat Gopi's 'Njaattadi', which was not released. Although he
acted in Aravindan's 'Chidambaram' and Lenin Rajendran's 'Meena
Masathile Sooryan' his first film to be released was 'Panchagni' of
Murali has acted with many stars including Vijaykanth, Prabhu, Sathyaraj, Prabhu Deva, Surya, Parthiban, Sarath Kumar, Mammootty and Sivaji Ganesan. In the 1990s, He has also acted with famous heroines including Simran, Roja, Devayani, Laila and Rambha. His son, Adharvaa, is also debuting as an actor. He passed away on 8th of September 2010 due to heart attack.
