Manav Kaul born in 1974,in Baramulla (J&K). He started the theater group ‘Aranya’ in 2004, and has written and directed Shakkar ke Paanch Daane, Peele Scooterwala Aadmi, Bali Aur Shambhu, Ilhaam, Aisa Kehte Hain, Shabd Sangeet and Park.
He has also worked as an actor with theater directors like Satyadev Dubey, Sunil Shanbag, Alok Chatterjee, etc.
His debut film Hansa has received accolades at film festivals.
