This youthful comedy revolves around four friends - Hunny (Pulkit Samrat) and Choocha (Varun Sharma) who want to get admission in the coolest college of the city, not for studies but to woo beautiful girls. Since they are not the best of students the only way to get admission in this college is through back door entry. Lali (Manjot Singh), a pakka sardar, prays daily at a Gurudwara and asks God to give him admission in the same college in which his girlfriend is studying. And the fourth one Zafar (Ali Faisal), who dreams to become a big musician one day.
Choocha see weird dreams which Hunny decodes and comes up with a winning lottery number. The duo decides to invest more money to win the state lottery. Meanwhile Lali and Zafar also join them in order to fulfil their individual desires. All the four friends approach Bholi Punjaban (Richa Chadda), a gangster, who makes money by selling drugs and betting, to invest in their full proof plan. But their plan goes kaput and the boys find themselves in some really hazardous conditions.
All the four male actors have given awesome performances in the movie and it would be unfair to credit any one actor. Pulkit Samrat has pulled his role with great confidence. Debutant Varun will leave you surprised with his extraordinary acting. Manjot has already proved his acting prowess in Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, and he is getting better day by day. Ali is also good in his role.
While the male leads have so much to do in the movie, female actors don't have much role to play except Richa Chadda. She has given a power packed performance and played the role of a new age female gangster brilliantly.
Ram Sampat's soundtrack goes with the mood of the film. Songs like 'Fuk Fuk Fukrey', 'Jugaad Karle' and 'Ambarsariya' are good to listen.
The first fifteen minutes of the movie is slow and slightly boring. Director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba goes overboard with some scenes which has made the movie lengthy. But just like other Farhan Akhtar productions, Fukrey too provides ample laughter and funny moments to keep you hooked. The comic timing of all the four actors is commendable. And this fun, joyous ride will not disappoint you.
