Just two week after the release of the movie Agneepath, Karan Johar has come up with his next outing. Directed by Shakun Batra, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is yet another good entertainer from Dharma Productions. The movie rocks with a different screenplay and novel narration.

It was rumoured earlier that Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is remake of What Happens in Vegas? But this has completely different story except the place being the common factor in both the stories. But one can smell the scent of Jab We Met and Anjaana Anjaani. This movie is all about a timid boy meeting a fearless girl and how she transforms him from a boy to a man.

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is a romantic comedy and Kareena and Imran's performance is the major highlight of the film. David Mac Donald's camera work, Amit Trivedi's music, beautiful costumes and locations and its unique climax are its other attractions. Shakun Batra has a good story and he has adapted a new way of storytelling in the film.

Rahul Kapoor (Imran Khan), 26, who is an architect in Vegas, loses his job, but he is afraid to tell it to his parents. So he decides to hide the truth until he finds another job. He accidentally meets fearless and quick-witted hairstylist Riana Braganza (Kareena Kapoor) on Christmas eve over a few drinks. Following this night of debauchery, they wake up to discover that they have got married. They both decide to get it annulled as soon as possible and get an appointment from the court in ten days.

But they develop an unlikely friendship in the next ten days. Will this friendship turn in love? Will her warmth and fearlessness give Rahul the courage to face a long-simmering confrontation with his parents? Will a marriage that started as a drunken mistake help two people find themselves? All these questions are answered in the climax portion.

Kareena Kapoor has a very chirpy and lively role in the film. As Raina, she has given excellent performance, which seems to overshadowing the hero. But don't blame director if her performance reminds you of her role in Jab We Met. Although Imran Khan has stickler kind of character, he manages to stand out with his wonderful acting skills. Others like Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, Ram Kapoor and Sonia Mehra have also come up with impeccable performances.

In the technical front, Amit Trivedi's music is the major attraction and his compositions like 'Gubbare' Ek main aur ekk tu and 'Aunty ji' linger in your memory even after you are out of the theatres. David Mac Donald has contributed some stunning visuals to the film. He has captured the dazzling locales of Las Vegas with aplomb on celluloid.

Overall, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is a creative and innovative take on present-day romance and it is a perfect entertainer for this Valentine's Day!
