Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was discharged from Hinduja hospital on July 11. He underwent a brain surgery to remove a two-month-old clot. "I am fantastic," Hrithik said after being discharged from the Hinduja hospital this afternoon.
The actor was operated upon last Sunday at Hinduja Healthcare Surgical in Khar for subdural hematoma (collection of blood in the space between the outer layer and middle layers of the covering of the brain). This happened as a result of head injury he had suffered two months back while performing stunts for his upcoming film Bang Bang. The film is a remake of the Hollywood blockbuster movie called Knight and Day starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. It features prominent stunt sequences.
The shooting of Bang Bang was postponed following the incident. The actor is said to have been advised complete rest for at least four weeks.
Veteran actor Dharmendra advised Hrithik Roshan to be careful while performing stunts. Dharmendra, who is currently in the US to attend a wedding, got to know of Hrithik's surgery and called him up to check on his health. Dharmendra made enquires about Hrithik's surgery and asked him to be careful while performing stunts, a source said. Hrithik has been a huge fan of Dharmendra.
