Farhan Akhtar Goes Back To School

'School days are golden days' is more than just a saying. And who said celebrities don't cherish their childhood memories? Bollyood actor Farhan Akhtar can't stop smiling thinking about his school days after his recent visit to his alma meter. The actor visited his school Maneckji Cooper School on Friday, July 19.

Farhan, who is racing ahead with his Bhaag Milkha Bhaag success, relived some of his childhood memories on this visit. He visited the school in Juhu for a promotional event of the recently released movie directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.

Farhan Goes Back To School

The actor was very happy to go back to childhood memories. "Went back to my school to unveil a Milkha cover notebook. Flooded with memories. Still smiling," Farhan shared on Twitter.

Farhan spoke about the similarity between his school motto and athlete Milkha Singh. "My school motto and Milkhaji's philosophy are the same - 'There is no excellence without labour'. So what better place to do this activity," he added.

The actor was grateful and he thanked the principal, teachers, staff and students for their generosity of time and love. "Will cherish it, always," Farhan expressed.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, which released on July 12 is receiving a very good response from everywhere. It has had a very good opening at the box office.
