Salman Khan troubles don't seem to end. First a session court in Mumbai framed charges against him in connection with hit and run case on July 24 this year and said that the actor would be tried under IPC section 304 part II, culpable homicide not amounting to murder. And now the court has said that it will consider the application of activist Abha Singh to help the public prosecutor in the final arguments of the case.
On the other hand Salman's lawyer said that the media is partial and not giving fair coverage on the case. The court then ordered the media that they should be fair in their views and opinions. Salman's lawyer further that the court had failed to appreciate that Salman Khan had neither the intention nor the knowledge that his rash and negligent driving would kill a person and cause injury to four others. Salman was earlier tried under section 304A of IPC which carries a maximum punishment of two years but under the new charges Salman Khan can face up to ten years in prison.
