It was reported earlier that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starer Ek Tha Tiger has been banned in Pakistan because the government felt that the movie is anti Pakistan and shows ISI in bad light. But now, it has been confirmed that the movie will not be banned in Pakistan.

When TOI, contacted Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) spokesman and general manager Fakhruddin Mughal, he denied the news and said, "No,its not true.I haven't seen the story or heard such news. There is no such letter issued by PEMRA. As per my knowledge,we have not issued any letter to any cable operator regarding this movie."

When Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan heard the rumours that his movie will be banned in Pakistan, he tweeted, "It's disturbing for Ek Tha Tiger to be perceived as an anti-Pakistan film. But it isn't surprising. Look at the cheap jingoistic anti-Pakistan films that have released over the years. We can't really blame them if they perceive Ek Tha Tiger as one such film."

Kabir khan further wrote, "Neither Salman nor I have ever visited Pakistan. So why not? We are willing to do anything that's required to make Pakistanis believe that our project is not against them. I don't think the trailer being banned is a big deal. Once the film releases, the truth will be out."

Well, Kabir you can breathe a sigh of relief now!
