Ranveer Singh might be a new kid in the tinsel town but this lady killer is definitely rising high. Ranveer, who once poked fun at Aamir Khan and Salman, is currently following their footsteps towards success. Ranveer too has got into the leads of South movie remakes.
Ranveer has been signed to star in the Hindi remake of award winning Telugu film Magadheera, PTI reports. Magadheera, a historical-drama-love story, will be remade in Hindi by Anurag Kashyap and Vikas Bahl's production company Phantom.
"Magadheera is a passion project for us at Phantom and we are so excited to have the rights to recreate this magical piece of work. Ranveer is the best thing that could have happened to it. He has all the ingredients to be a passionate lover, a warrior and an entertainer all at the same time," Bahl said.
The lead actress and the director to helm the project are yet to be finalised. The Hindi version, is reportedly being made with a budget of Rs 50 crore.
