The passionate actor who will be seen in the upcoming film Tanu Weds Manu, starring opposite Kangana Ranaut, says that it is always one film at a time for him. The actor says that there is no dearth of films for him, however he prefers to do one good film at one time, rather than getting into a mad race of bagging films.
The actor talks about his character in the film Tanu Weds Manu, which he says was a very difficult role to play. He said that he had to heroic as well as a common man while playing the character of Manu, which was the toughest role in his entire career.
Manu is a US return guy, who as usual want to marry an Indian girl, a true Indian sense, however, when he comes to India, he finds that India has changed a lot and there is not left in India that makes it feel like Bharat. The Indian women have been more attracted towards Western form of life style. He then meets Kangana Ranaut in a small village of Punjab and falls for her.
From here on the story of the romantic-comedy film starts. Madhavan says that the film is a total desi watch, with a lot of North India touch. The film runs for 1:59 hours. Tanu weds Manu has been the next film that has excited Madhavan after his blockbuster film 3 Idiots.
The actor says that when he looks back at 3 Idiots, he feels proud to have done a commendable job, Tanu Weds Manu, is something that will again make him proud once again.
