Shandar Amrohi, who was in the process of making a music video based on the collections of poems of his step mother, the late actress Meena Kumari died of a sudden heart attack on Sunday morning while shooting the video in Goa, amidst complains of uneasiness.
Shandar Amrohi, son of legendary filmmaker Kamal Amrohi, who has not been keeping well for some time now complained of severe uneasiness during the shooting of the video. He then retired to his hotel room where he collapsed. Kamal Amrohi could not be saved as he was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Amrohi, 68 was one of the owners of the Kamalistan Studios in Jogeshwari in Mumbai.
