Shahrukh Khan hits back at Shiv Sena

The Shiv Sena has warned Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan to apologise for backing the Pakistani cricketers at the IPL and making remark that Mumbai is for all Indians. The party stated that his films would be banned in the city if he doesn"t offer an apology but the Baadshah is not bowing down to their demands.

Shahrukh has hit back at the Shiv Sena by saying that he would stand by his statements and that his take on the issue is very strong. He added that there is no excuse for his statement and believes that he is an Indian.

The actor, who is currently promoting his upcoming release My Name is Khan with co-star Kajol in New York, termed the stance of the Shiv Sena as unhealthy, undemocratic and insensitive. He said that he is confident that their efforts would not affect his film commercially.

My Name is Khan, produced by Karan Johar, is slated for release on February 12. It is about a guy who goes abroad to win back his love.

 

After SRK, Big B bats for Pakistani cricketers
