Ravi Baswani dies of heart attack

Yet another loss to the Hindi film fraternity. Ravi Baswani, who was better known for his comic roles, passed away on Tuesday (July 27th, 2010) after a massive heart attack. Ravi who was 63 years old established his acting career in the year 1981 with the film Chasme Budoor and became the best comic actor with the film Jaane Bhi Do. He even won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award in 1984 for that cult movie.

Baswani was also quiet liked by the small screen audience and was very often seen on Television. He was recently seen in films like Lucky-No Time For Love, Bunty Aur Babli and Pyar Tune Kya Kiya.

very very talented actor.enjoyed his movies during college days. whenever i see his movies,i remember my college days.we can now see him every day only through FANTA AD.

He was a very good comedian and was very much appreciated by the audience.His role in chashmebaddor was memorable and he struck a right cord with the audience. May his soul rest in piece....
