Bandit Queen's Nirmal Pandey passes away

Bollywood actor Nirmal Pandey better known for his role in the critically acclaimed movie Bandit Queen has passed away. The 48 year-old-actor is survived by his wife Archana and two kids. Nirmal graduated from the prestigious National School of Drama has acted in several Bollywood and regional films like Iss Raat Ki Subah Nahin, Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, One 2 ka 4 and Shikari. His last release was the Telugu film Kedi staring actor Nagarjuna.

Nirmal had established a niche for himself playing negative characters on the big screen as well as on television. He had shot to fame through Shekar Kapur's award winning movie Bandit Queen in 1996 playing the character of Vikram Mallah. He had just finished the shooting for the Amol Palekar's Daayara in Lahore where he will be seen playing transvestite. We at Oneindia mourn Nirmal Pandey's death and pray for his soul to rest in peace.

Bollywood has lost one of the talented and finest actors. Unfortunate and Untimely demise. May God give strength to his family to endure the irreparable loss.

At least do your background research.Nirmal just finished work on Lahore not Daayra. Daayraa was released in 1996 or so. !!
