The police have questioned many people in connection with the theft of cash and jewellery worth Rs 80 lakh at actress Hema Malini's bungalow in suburban Goregaon a few days ago but the police are still clueless.

Senior Inspector Vinayak Kakde said that over 60 people including two security men, domestic helps and milkman have been questioned but no breakthrough has been made so far. He however said that the probe is on the right track and hope to solve it soon.

The burglary took place when the actress was in Nagpur on Saturday. Thieves broke into her house in her absence and made away with Rs.75 lakh in case, gold ornaments, a gold waistband, diamond jewellery, bangles, gold chains and earrings. The total loss amounts to Rs.80 lakh.

It seems thievs have promised thier wives for some ornaments to wear, unfortunately it is too hot gold market, so let it go for the poor chaps, you have already earned a good publicity out of it.
