But, there has been a positive side for India's most loved author. His book Five Point Someone is selling like hot cakes all across the country. If leading retailers are to be believed the sale of his book on IIT life has shot up by almost 30 percent. This jump is even more in cities like Bangalore and Pune with a sizeable youth population.
Some major retailers in these cities have run out of stock for Five Point Someone. Not only that his other books One Night @ The Call Centre, The 3 Mistakes of My Life and the recent 2 States have also seen jump in sales since the controversy started. In his latest blog Chetan Bhagat has now expressed the desire to move on and walk the middle path. This after Raj Kumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra had threatened him with legal action.
