The 44 year old actor has been riding high with the success of his movie 3 Idiots which has broken all Box Office records to become the highest grosser in the history of Bollywood. Aamir's name has been doing the rounds ever since he impressed everyone with his directorial debut Taare Zameena Par.
Bollywood diva of yesteryears Rekha and Chhote Nawab Saif Ali Khan have been chose for the Padma Shri award. Interestingly Saif's father and legendary cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi has also won the Padma Shri award in 1967. Others who won the Padma Shri include cricketer Virender Sehwag and badminton star Saina Nehwal.
