There were rumours that Yash Raj Films had signed Salman Khan for their next movie to be directed by Tashan director Vijay Krishna Acharya. Now the most celebrated banner in Bollywood has dismissed the rumour calling it 'completely baseless'. A spokesperson for YRF said Acharya is still in the process of writing the script and no cast has been finalised and when it is done a suitable announcement would be made.
It may be mentioned that Salman Khan has never worked with the Yash Raj banner in his two decade long career. He was Aditya Chopra's first choice for Chak De! India but had a fall out with the producer over the script. The movie was later done by Shahrukh Khan and became one of the biggest hits of his career. But off late there were rumours of a patch up between Salman and Adi but that doesn't seem too good to get Salman a movie. Well Salman Khan may end up his career without the YRF jewel in his crown.
