Wake Up Sid rocks the box-office

The verdict is finally out. Ranbir Kapoor must be pulling a wide smile to himself with his latest film Wake Up Sid going great at the box-office. It is said that the film grossed over Rs.21.5 crore worldwide in the first opening weekend.

The latest news is that the three days' collections in India crossed Rs.17 crore from 420 screens. It earned more than Rs.4 crores from oversees, and that too from less than 200 screens. It did very well in countries like the US, UK, Gulf and Australia.

Wake Up Sid is about a lazy, carefree guy, whose life changed after meeting an aspiring writer from Kolkata. Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma play the lead roles in this film produced by Karan Johar and directed by Ayan Mukerji.

Watch out for Wake Up Sid! It is set to turn a big, as it is still going strong at the box office!

Actress Tamanna has denied media reports that she has signed Thambi Ramiah's new film Oru Koodai Mutham 100 Rupai. Few days before, some of the portals published (not oneindia.in) that the actress has signed a film under the direction of Thambi Ramiah, the director of Vadivelu starrer disaster Indiralokathil Na Azhagappan. But now she denied the same strongly. In a statement the actress says, "I have not even been approached by anyone for this film. I don't know why such rumours round on.....
