There seems to be no respite for Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja in the alleged rape case involving his maid servant. A local court in Mumbai extended the judicial custody of the Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi actor till July 30. Although Shiney's lawyer Shrikant Shivade put his argument forward seeking bail the court gave in to the prosecution's demand. The prosecution demanded the judicial custody to be extended as the police is still probing into the case.
This is the third extension of judicial custody for Shiney Ahuja who has been lodged at Arthur Road jail for allegedly raping his domestic maid. The DNA tests conducted on Shiney has confirmed sexual intercourse between the two but the actor had claimed that he had consensual sex with the maid. Shiney has been charged under the IPC Section 376 which deals with rape. The National Commission for Women had demanded the the case to be fast tracked.
