Kin of the famous Mukherjee family, Sharbani Mukherjee is to begin all over again in Hindi films. She was believed to be one of the most promising actresses in the industry after the success of her debut film Border. But unfortunately fate did not smile on her for long.

She faced consecutive flops in her career after Border. Neither the family connection nor the stardom of the first film brought any big opportunity. On the other hand, her cousins Kajol and Rani Mukherjee climbed the ladder, with one after the other proving successful at the box office and continue to rule the industry till today.

After a small hiatus she has recently done a Malayalam film Sufi Paranja Katha. And soon she will be back in Hindi films with Sangeeth Sivan"s next. The yet untitled film is due for release in November.
