It is common knowledge that Shahrukh Khan will make a guest appearance in Dulha Mil Gaya, produced by close friend, Vivek Vaswani. But did you know his guest appearance lasts for an hour in the two and half hour film? The buzz is that Shahrukh is not happy with his role getting extended so much so that he didn"t want to complete shooting for the film.
However, producer Vivek Vaswani has rubbished these reports and informed that they have not added or subtracted any scenes with Shahrukh. Whatever was narrated to him has been filmed. He has 17 scenes and three songs. One of the music videos is yet to be shot with the entire cast.
Since Shahrukh is doing Dulha Mil Gaya as a favour for a friend, he is being credited as a guest appearance. Vaswani also thinks that getting credited as a guest appearance does not depend on the length of the role. He gives the example of Sunny Deol in Damini. Similarly, he feels that while Shahrukh is not part of the main cast, his role is equally powerful as that of the others.
