It looks like this year's IIFA at Macau will look dull with popular Bollywood actors deciding to skip the event. Actor Shahid Kapoor too has decided to keep away from the event after Kareena Kapoor, his ex girlfriend, and Priyanka Chopra, his present girlfriend, declared that they would not be able to make it to the event.
It was earlier reported that Shahid and Priyanka would perform at the IIFA Awards 2009 as part of the promotion for their much-talked-about film Kaminey. However, the pair has opted out at the eleventh hour. Shahid said that he was looking forward to perform at the event but couldn't due to his shooting commitments.
With many films on hand, it became impossible for Shahid to attend IIFA. He has been shooting films like Kaminey, Paathshala and an untitled film for Yash Raj simultaneously. He is yet to complete Ken Ghosh"s film too.
This year's IIFA will also not see Bollywood Khans, as Shahrukh is busy with My Name Is Khan, Salman with Dus Ka Dum, Aamir with his new film and Saif deciding to spend time with Kareena in London.
