Many would doubt if Rani Mukherjee and Shahid Kapoor would make a good pair in Dil Bole Hadippa because of their age difference. Having started acting very early, Rani surely looks much older than Shahid, but the once Bollywood queen said that they look great together.
Rani Mukherjee said that she and Shahid looked into the monitors on the first day of shooting and couldn't believe their eyes, as they looked great together. She added that Aditya Chopra must be confident that they would look good together. And the kind of feedback on the new pair has been so far so good.
But Dil Bole Hadippa is not their first pairing. They had shot for a Pepsi commercial together many years ago. Rani was already a star while Shahid was still a model then. She revealed that he used to look at her in awe and kept watching her. She added that she tried to make him feel comfortable, as Shahrukh Khan and Kajol were also in the commercial.
Aditya Chopra produces Dil Bole Hadippa under the Yash Raj Films banner and Anurag Singh directs it. The film is all set for release nextFriday, 18th September.
