She plays a cricketer in one of her roles in the film, and for it she took lots of practice on the game from a reputed cricketer. She even got batting tips from Shahrukh Khan. But this talented actress is not taking up cricket in real life.

Has her role in Dil Bole Hadippa inspired Rani to bid for an Indian Premiere League (IPL) team? She said that there is no chance of buying an IPL team, as she has no money. She added that she can't take up such huge responsibility. She is happy what she is doing at the moment.
