When Mugdha Godse"s debut film Fashion was released, her excited boyfriend Mithun Purandare booked an entire theatre for private screening of the film for her entire family, relatives and friends. But no such thing took place for her third film Jail, where she acts with Neil Nitin Mukesh.
What is wrong this time around? Well, the couple broke up recently. They met while shooting for a music video in 2003 and fell in love. However, differences cropped up when Madhur Bhandarkar"s Jail went to the floors. They tried to drag on their relationship but couldn"t hold on to it.
Mugdha admitted that she and Mithun are no longer together and that she is single. She added that both of them were very young when the relationship begun and realized that they were better off as friends than as couple.
Sources said that they parted ways amicably and are still friends.
