Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh must be happy that his much-hyped fantasy adventure Aladin starring superstar Amitabh Bachchan has been given a 'U' certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film also features actors Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Ghosh said that Aladin is a clean wholesome family entertainer. He added that he expected a U certificate from the censor board, as it has no violence, nudity or obscenity. It was meant to be a family film and the plots have been spiced up to attract the adults too.

The filmmaker is pretty impressed with the cast of the film. Amitabh has been tirelessly promoting the film and so too the other actors Riteish and Jacqueline. It is releasing this Friday, 30th October.
