After her stunning performance in the legendary movie Jodha Akbar, Aish is ready to do yet another historical role in the movie titled Mumtaz Mahal. And guess what she does the role of Queen Mumtaz, for whom Taj Mahal was made.
The Anglo-Indian actor Ben Kingsley is the director of the movie. He too won the Academy Award for his historical role as Mahatma Gandhi in the movie Gandhi. When asked about the motive to make the movie Ben said, "With my passion for India and the Taj Mahal now becoming one of the Seven Wonders of the World, I am compelled to ask 'why' and 'how' this scream of grief frozen in marble came into being."
So also Ben is to perform in the movie as Emperor Shah Jahan. The shooting of the film will start by July 2010. The two actors are to bring the true love story with all its richness on screen once again.
