It was the mother of all premieres Bollywood is used to seeing every week. For one it was none other than perfectionist Aamir Khan's movie and secondly the who's who of Bollywood was attending. Aamir wore a handmade fabric suit during the 3 Idiots premiere said he was feeling nervous about the movie. He was being accompanied by wife Kiran Rao.

Kareena Kapoor the leading lady who is recovering from illness donned a sizzling saree looked confident about her latest flick. Sharman Joshi and Madhavan were at their cheerful best. Director Raj Kumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra welcomed their guests at the Imax, Wadala in Mumbai. Amitabh Bachchan who had confirmed his presence at the premiere skipped the event at the last minute due to unavoidable circumstance.

One moment the audience was waiting for was to see Aamir along with Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan together. The three Khans were under the same roof yet didn't come together. Salman and Shahrukh who are fighting a Cold War have made it a point not to bump into each other. Shahrukh was heard saying "I have not come here to make friendship," He later added "I have no issues with anybody." On three Khans appearing together on screen SRK candidly replied "If we all have the dates and we all like the same story, maybe yes, maybe not."

Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi who had worked with Raj Kumar Hirani in the Munnabhai series came for the old time"s sake. Aamir's nephew Imran Khan, the latest heartthrob of Bollywood, was present on the occasion with ladylove Avantika. Kareena's beau Saif Ali Khan also attended the premier complete the Khan brigade.
