Tusshar Kapoor, who had planned to hold a huge bash to celebrate the success of his last film, golmaal Returns, cancelled it in the wake of the 26/11 terrorist attacks. Tusshar, who returned from Cape Town on Sunday night, after shooting for Abbas-Mustaan's Life Partner says, "I had tentatively decided to have this party this week now I won't have the party in light of the tragedy that's taken place. I was in Cape Town when I heard the news on Nov 26 and was up all night watching the news."

Kapoor feels it's wrong to celebrate anything at a time when the city is in mourning, "How can I celebrate when so many lives have been lost and so much mass destruction has taken place? It would be selfish and callous. I am depressed and saddened by the whole tragedy. I used to go to the Taj and Oberoi all the time. My naani used to stay close by in Colaba. Now things won't ever be the same."

The first thing that Tusshar after hearing the news is to call his family (dad Jeetendra, mother Shobhaa and sister Ekta) and if they all safe were okay. The actor had been away from his home for an entire month but he isn't feeling happy about being back in the city, "I am feeling so low everyone seems to be either sad or angry. This is no time to party. I won't be having any celebrations till things get back to normalcy. People are not just in the mood. You know the strange thing is I never had a big party earlier. This would have been my first but right now, I don't want to celebrate anythi... may... not even New Year's Eve... hope the New Year brings happiness for everyone." Amen.
