Talking about her characters Rangita says, “Ranvir is Ugly a total nerd who believes he"s God"s gift to womankind while Pagli (Mallika) is a violent woman who looks at love like war."
“Pagli doesn"t hesitate to pick up a fight with anybody. Nobody messes with Pagli pretty much what Mallika is like in real life. In fact in this film she saw a lot of herself in the character in many ways," adds Rangita.
Mallika"s look is unique, “We have given her a very 2008 look, hair coloured and with bangs. Ashley Rebello and Mallika have worked together on the concept. Ugly Aur Pagli will be a film where Ranvir will look his best."
