Says Jimmy Sheirgill, "Munde UK De is the story of a couple of guys who have lived in UK all their life and now step their feet in Punjab, the place where their roots lie. The two backdrops are completely in contrast to each other and how these two boys see people and how they see them in return is what forms the crux of the story."
Neeru Bajwa, who was earlier been seen in Dil Apna Punjabi as well as Asa Nu Maan Watna Da, has been repeated by Manmohan Singh for Munde UK De as the leading lady.
"The film is a feel good entertainer with embellished with a lot of light hearted as well as romantic moments. I have been stationed in Chandigarh for close to a month now and thoroughly enjoying my shoot. Also, for the character I play, I have gone through a makeover by sporting spiked hair and also developed a slight accent", quips Jimmy.
A film which revolves around the theme of generation gap and culture clash, Munde UK De is not just directed but also written and produced by Manmohan Singh.
