Tabu turns lawyer in reel life

Ravi Chopra has singed Tabu for his next venture Pappu Paas Ho Gaya, which will be an out and out comedy.

It is believed that Ravi Chopra was looking out for a sexy siren to play the role of a naughty lawyer in the film. The same role was offered to actresses like Mallika Sherawat, Sushmita Sen and Bipasha Basu. Confirming the news he adds, “I have signed Tabu for my next film Pappu Paas Ho Gaya. Tabu is a talented actress. She was my first choice as she is apt for this role."

Pappu Paas Ho Gaya is the story of a lawyer, who fails for six years in Law School and ends up getting a murder case to fight. Along with Govinda, Lara Dutta and Tabu the film also stars Boman Irani, Rajpal Yadav and Satish Shah.

It is also believed that PPHG is a remake of the Hollywood film, My Cousin Vinny. Chopra refutes, “It"s not a remake but yes it is inspired by that film." He plans to begin shoot for this by the end of August.
