Shekhar Suman who started his career opposite Rekha in Utsav and later went on to become television sensation has now turned a film producer. Shekhar Suman will be producing his first film Dhaan under the banner of Windmill Entertainment. The film will be directed by Makrand Deshpande.

Shekhar Suman will be producing his first film Dhaan under the banner of Windmill Entertainment. The film will be directed by Makrand Deshpande.Dhaan is a black humor comedy. It is a story of rural urban truth, where Shekhar Suman plays the lead role of Detective. "A loving Wife, a committed Secretary, a successful Detective, on a full moon night, a Farmer's suicide that changes his life..." is how the film is described by the producer.
